PLANET / THE TETHER LAB

Projects

Software, research and creative work, with a clear purpose.

I build and adapt software for business decisions, marketing workflows, writing and research. Each project shows its purpose, current state and the judgement still required to use it.

PLANET / PROJECTS
A GUIDE TO THE SYSTEM

Follow your curiosity.

The Sun is Home. Planets are sections. Their satellites are projects, ideas and experience: moons, smaller planets and celestial anomalies. The bright star is Stack; selecting it reveals a pulsar and the tools I use.

Select a labelled body or use Explore. Back restores your previous view, or the parent for a directly opened page. Home returns to the Sun. Click empty space outside a window to close it. Your browser’s Back and Forward work too.

Drag the scene to pan and scroll to zoom. The + and − controls also zoom; ↺ restores the current view. Choose Explore 3D for a full-screen view without text or controls. On touch screens, pan with one finger or pinch with two. Press Escape to return Home. The scene fills the current window without changing the app or browser window mode.

Use Tab to move between controls, Enter to select, and Escape to go back. All content remains available without the 3D scene.

Planet textures: Solar System Scope, CC BY 4.0, resized and compressed. Scene techniques informed by N3rson’s MIT Solar-System-3D.
